As far as high end makeup goes, these are two of the most dominating brands out there. I usually go back and forth on which one I favor over the other---Mac is probably closest to my heart at the moment.

mac. it's less pricey and has tons of products out there.

MAC, since it's so much cheaper than NARS.
NARS is great but I hardly get to try their products b/c they're expensive.
mac for most things.. but nars for blush and bronzer :)
